Super Safari and Great Service

We visited Bamburi Beach in March 2024. There were 7 of us in total and tropical cats tours looked after all of our transportation. From airport transfers, to sightseeing around Mombasa.

The best part though was the 2 day safari in Tsavo East national Park. Sam and his team looked after everything. From picking a fantastic hotel for us, Lion Hill lodges, and taking us on 3 fantastic safari’s though the park.

It was a fantastic week and can’t wait to go back again

In Safe Hands

Perfect Service – can’t pick a fault

We (party of 12) spent two weeks at Bamburi beach hotel and used Sam (Tropical Cat Tours) for all transport during the two weeks and Safari for a weekend. I cannot fault the service received. Sam is very professional and his local knowledge is priceless while we were on our trip there. Timekeeping was spot on and everything was arranged to perfection. I would highly recommend to anybody.

Brilliant Service & Support

Part of a group of 12 and Sam and his team delivered fantastic service, nothing was to much to ask. The hotel he found was superb and the Safari that was organised was incredible including the accommodation.

Most amazing safari and the best Guides (4 days – Tsavo West, Amboseli, Tsavo East, Mombasa)

So it was our second Safari, but this one was the most amazing experience – better than we had dreamed!

Samuel organized the whole trip, from pick up until drop off and more. We were upgraded to lodges without having to pay more, when the camping option wasn’t available. We went to 4 different lodges, each one so beautiful, with many big animals right in front of our bedroom and restaurant area, day and night. We went on 2 game drives everyday, one night drive and one walking safari as well.

Anytime we needed help with organizing anything, Samuel helped where he could, he even organized transports for us after the safari had ended, which saved us a lot of money.

Our Driver Briexton and Samuel were great guides, and we can only recommend them to everyone. They knew a lot, showed us all the animals we hoped to see and made sure we got the best pictures!

We will be back!

Amazing Safari

I went on an 2 day safari to Tsavo East. Everything was very well organized and the VOI lodge was beautiful. Samuel, the guide/director was very professional throughout the whole Safari. He was very knowledgeable and provided the group with lots of information about the animals. He was very patient and was quick to point out animals for us while making sure each of us got plenty of photo ops. I plan to visit Masai Mara next and I will definitely be using this company again.

Trustworthy, customisable and good price

I spent 9 excellent full days with Samuel Musyoki through Kenya and Tanzania along with 3 more friends. He recommended us very well where and when to go to very nice places we didn’t know from travel blogs, and he always helped us to improvise were possible. He was a very trustworthy person who helped us a lot, making such a difficult travel (9 days together in a car!) an unforgettable experience. I strongly recommend him.

Second to None

As planned Sam from Tropical Cat Tours picked us up from the airport on the 27th February with one of his drivers Major. His services were excellent and he made sure that our needs were met and was there for us every step of the way. Sam and his team are so reliable and are even happy to escort you to the shops to make sure you get the best deal. I would recommend Sam and his team to anyone that is thinking of going to Mombasa area. His prices are realistic, his knowledge on safari never seems to run out and he ensures that you get the very best out of your visit to Kenya.
