A 3-day safari at Tsavo means plenty of game drives and time to discover the wildlife and special features of this dynamic natural reserve. You’ll see immense painted plains, extinct volcanic cones, verdant springs and ragged rocky peaks.

Day 1 – East to West
Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel or airport and head out to Tsavo East National Park, taking in the sites of the wildlife and scenery. You’ll arrive at your overnight accommodation in time for lunch and then the first of many game drives in the parks.
Accommodation your first evening will be in the park at the lodge or tented camp of your choice.

Day 2 – East to West
An early morning rise ensures the sight of a new African dawn and a game drive to greet the animals as they emerge into the fresh day. We’ll navigate the wild savanna here searching for the rich variety of wildlife that inhabit Tsavo.
After breakfast we’ll head out on another game drive scouting the plains for the park’s diverse wildlife. Then, it’s a short drive to Tsavo West National Park.
Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary
Tsavo West is home to this sanctuary where some 80 of the park’s endangered black rhinos live in a protected area. We’ll visit this special enclave looking out for these shy creatures.
Accommodations for this evening will be at Tsavo West.

Day 3 – Mzima Springs
Another early rise in the dawn’s soft light will bring you close to the many hunters and grazers now stirring in the park.
Today we will also visit Mzima Springs which lies in cool, green contrast to the deep, brown savannahs. We will disembark from our safari vehicle to walk the soft verdant undergrowth and view the wildlife here. Hippos, crocodiles, many exotic fish and unique birdlife populate this tranquil spot. You’ll feel you’ve truly experienced Tsavo after a refreshing walking safari here.

After lunch, you will slowly head back to the Nairobi to be dropped off at your hotel.
