Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest parks in Kenya, located South East of Kenya near the Town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta District of Coast Province, inland from the Coast, it is 13,747 sq.km.
Tsavo East is generally flat, with dry plains across which the Galana River flows. Other features include the Yatta Plateau and Lugard Falls
Day 1 Mombasa -Tsavo East
Pick up from your hotel 05.30 hrs
Drive through the Mombasa- Nairobi highway. You will have a comfort stop on the way with an opportunity to purchase refreshments and gifts. Proceed to Tsavo East National Park for a game drive until time for lunch at Taita hills.
After lunch, relax in the lodge until 4.00pm where you will proceed for evening game drive. At 6.00pm you will then check in at your allocated Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo East – Mombasa
Early breakfast at 06.00 hrs.
Proceed for early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for full breakfast Check out of the lodge and go for final game drive as you leave the park and journey back to Mombasa begins.
Maasai Village Visit
There will be an opportunity to visit the traditional Maasai village on the way back at an extra cost.
Arrival in Mombasa will be in the evening, full of great impressions.
