This safari explores Samburu, Shaba and Buffalo Springs Game Reserves in northern Kenya, with an opportunity to view unique wildlife species. The scenic drive is via five distinct climatic sub regions with views of local homesteads, coffee, tea, pineapple and subsistence farming activities, also offering views of Mt Kenya
Day One Depart Nairobi for Samburu
You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by our tour guide, who will be you driver/guide of the trip, departing Nairobi in the Morning to Samburu where you will get to see giraffes, grevy’s zebra, Ostrich, vulturine, guinea fowl among others. Arrive in time for hot lunch at the lodge, later check in and relax. In the afternoon spend the day at leisure or head for an game drive in search for the beautiful wildlife, returning to your accommodation for evening meal.
Days 2 and 3
On both days you will leave very early morning for a game drive at the park, to catch up with the early morning hunter’s and grazer’s. You will leave with your packed lunch as the park is extensive enough to see more wildlife. Enjoy 2 days full of game viewing in this harshly beautiful terrain where wildlife abounds along the Uaso Nyiro River, the park’s only source of drinking water. There will hopefully see lions, elephant, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes in the wild. After the game drives, you will drive back to your lodge. You may as well have an optional visit to the Samburu villages for cultural treat of the Samburu tribe.
Day 4
Day 4 brings an early morning game drive before breakfast. You will then return to you accommodation for breakfast, and then slowly make our way back to Nairobi to your hotel or airport.
